Bio| past is gone; On MARCH 19th 2012 I deleted all my past LJ entries. The majority of my entries had images which were uploaded to my Scrapbook and that became obsolete when I lost it. Therefore, 70% of my entries looked broken and unappealing (and made no sense without the pictures) so I purged all entries. I'll hold the memories of the good times that I had on my journal with all my friends in my heart. re-start; Taking advantage of my "new journal" I have decided to make my entries partially locked. I want to get back into blogging and LJ is the only place that I actually enjoy, so from now on many of my entries will also be public. I'll also be posting graphics... it's one of those hobbies I love especially when there are beautiful subjects. I can't be sure just what the 'friend to public' ratio will be, but I do plan to be more open from now on. Keep in mind that all my non-public entries can be subject to filters (of interests) and that only my oldest friends will have access to everything; after all this time they've proven their loyalty and have my trust. history I created this account in late 2007 in hope of finding more people who liked JROCK. Eventually this space became devoted to everything in Asian entertainment. As my bonds with friends grew, I felt more inclined to even make personal posts and was able to share parts of my life with others, which included other hobbies too. My hope is to continue this method of diverse posting because I can't really be 'caged' to one particular topic. You can check out my interests for more insight on just what my LJ can (be) / is about. friending I'm a pretty friendly person (albeit moody) but there are some things that are important for you to know if you're contemplating adding me as a friend: 1. Have common interest; I fail at small talk and I don't particularly have time to read as it is. So when I come here I hope to see a friend's page filled with things that are relevant to me and my interests. It also helps me at the time of making my interest filters so that (when I remember to use them) I don't spam you with things you might not care for either. 2. Respect my privacy & that of my friends; Any entry that is not public is not to be shared anywhere. Any comment made by anyone (whether public or not) is not to be shared anywhere either [unless you have consent from the author.] I have zero tolerance for privacy rape. If I find quotes, screen captures, or other such content (that originates in my LJ) posted anywhere else (and I link the leak to you) I'll remove you; no questions. 3. No drama please; I'm not here to join causes, choose sides, or enter debates. I'm very into peace and love here. I reserve the right to remove anyone who is causing drama in my journal or any of the communities that I frequently go to. I have zero tolerance for harassment, cyber bullying, or any other like criminal behavior. I'm here to have a good time! 4. Comment or message me after adding; I do not check who adds me nor am I notified by email. You can leave me a comment in the first entry of my journal or send me a message. I seriously don't ignore anyone on purpose; I just don't look at my homepage. dollsoflace My screen name was inspired by Uruha (the GazettE) for my old dA account. He was the one who inspired me to learn how to paint digitally. When I was forced to leave school (Fine Arts major with an aim toward Animation) I thought that I'd never draw again. Uruha's unique stage persona and androgynous beauty moved me to pick up the brush again (both digital and traditional) as well as continue making [fan] graphics. Since then, I've used this screen name across various social networks. I've started using another SNs, but I always end up being "dollsoflace." I guess it's a pretty symbolic name for me for all the great things and people it's brought to me! |
